The eSafety Commissioner (eSafety) is Australia’s independent regulator for online safety. Its functions under the Online Safety Act 2021 include administering online safety schemes, industry codes and standards, and providing education and guidance to help Australians stay safe online. Further information is available on eSafety's website.
Australia’s online safety framework distinguishes between categories of illegal and age-restricted material. In summary:
These are summaries, not the full legal definitions. Further information is available through eSafety's Online Safety Codes and Standards information. A classification category does not mean that material is permitted on our service. Our Terms of Service and content policies determine what users may upload or share, subject to applicable law.
Our service is currently unavailable to users in Australia. We apply geographic access restrictions to prevent Australian users from accessing the service and its pornographic material.
We review the effectiveness of our geographic access restrictions over time. The reporting and complaints contact details below remain available for concerns about our service, including previously encountered content or possible failures of those restrictions.
Our service also uses the Restricted to Adults (RTA) label to help compatible filtering and parental-control tools identify and block the site. Our adult-content disclaimer explains that the site is intended for adults aged 18 and over. These measures complement the Australian access restrictions.
Parents and carers can find guidance on restricting access through device settings and filtering tools on our Parental Controls page. Further information is available on our RTA Compliance page.
We require uploader identity verification and evidence of consent before publication. We prohibit child sexual exploitation material and other content that breaches our Terms of Service or content policies. We review reports and take appropriate action, which may include removing content and restricting or terminating accounts.
You can report suspected Class 1A or Class 1B material, or Class 1C or Class 2 material that you believe breaches our Terms of Service or content policies, using our content-reporting form.
Open the reporting link above, provide the content URL if available, explain your concern, complete the relevant fields and submit the form. You do not need to identify the correct legal classification. We assess reports and take action where appropriate. If you cannot access the form, or wish to request a review of the outcome or handling of your report, email eSafety@youporn.com, including any previous report reference.
To complain about our compliance with applicable Online Safety Codes and Standards, including the Designated Internet Services Code for Class 1C and Class 2 material, email eSafety@youporn.com. Please explain what you believe we have failed to do and include relevant URLs, dates and any previous correspondence or report reference. You may use this route to raise concerns about our Australian access restrictions.
For content reports and Code-compliance complaints, we do not make your identity accessible to other users or account holders without your express consent, except where required by law.
If you remain dissatisfied with the outcome or handling of a Class 1A or Class 1B report, or a complaint about our compliance with applicable Online Safety Codes and Standards, email eSafety@youporn.com and we will refer your complaint to eSafety.
We will also promptly refer complaints from Australian users concerning material non-compliance with the Class 1C and Class 2 DIS Code where we are unable to resolve them within a reasonable timeframe. You do not need to make a further request for that referral.
You may complain directly to eSafety about possible non-compliance through its Online Safety Codes and Standards complaints page. To report illegal or restricted content or online abuse, visit eSafety’s reporting page. eSafety assesses regulatory compliance but does not use Code complaints to resolve individual disputes between users and services.
